1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Cantari collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit our website, create an account, use our text-to-speech and voice generation tools, or contact us for support.

Cantari is built to generate expressive speech from text while giving users control over their scripts, voice choices, style instructions, and generated audio. We use your information to provide the service, manage accounts and quotas, keep the service secure, and improve the product.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information, such as your name, email address, authentication identifiers, profile details, and organization details if you provide them.
  • Content you submit, such as scripts, prompts, style instructions, selected languages, voice settings, uploaded files or recordings, and other materials needed to generate audio.
  • Generated content and metadata, such as generated audio files, job status, titles, language, model, voice, creation time, completion time, download metadata, and usage history.
  • Usage and billing information, such as plan, character usage, generation limits, rate-limit events, invoices, payment status, and subscription changes. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored directly by Cantari.
  • Technical information, such as IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referrer, pages visited, logs, diagnostics, and approximate location derived from network information.
  • Support and communications, such as messages you send us, feedback, bug reports, survey responses, and related contact information.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain Cantari's website, dashboard, generation pipeline, storage, playback, downloads, and account features.
  • Authenticate users, protect accounts, prevent abuse, investigate security issues, and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • Meter usage, apply monthly character allowances, manage plan limits, process payments, and provide billing support.
  • Generate audio and return outputs based on your submitted text, voice settings, style instructions, and selected models.

  • Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and property of Cantari, users, and the public.

4. AI content and model improvement

Cantari processes the text, settings, and other content you provide in order to generate audio and provide related features such as playback, download, usage history, and support.

We do not sell your personal information. We also do not use your private scripts, uploaded voice materials, or generated audio to train public models without your permission. We may use aggregated, de-identified, or diagnostic information to improve reliability, safety, and product quality.

5. How we share information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers that help us run Cantari, such as authentication, hosting, database, storage, payment, email, analytics, support, security, and inference providers.
  • Professional advisers, such as attorneys, accountants, auditors, and insurers when reasonably necessary.

No online service can guarantee perfect security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for limiting access to your devices and downloaded audio files.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and support legitimate business needs. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and your plan or account status.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Cantari and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences such as theme, measure performance, understand product usage, and protect against abuse.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may prevent some features from working correctly.
